Last summer, I started building a home cyber lab to get hands-on sysadmin and networking experience before transferring to UTSA, and it quickly became my best learning environment for Linux administration and security tooling.

I'm currently working on a video game inspired by games like Endless Sky and Stellaris. These games both feature a "star map" of different systems with connections that the player can travel along. Endless Sky has a premade starmap that matches the vibe of what I want, but Stellaris procedurally generates it's star map for each game you play, which is the approach I want to take.

What a fun week!

I first joined the Godot Wild Jam on a whim. I was planning on joining the GMTK jam later this summer, and went to check the start date. While I was browsing itch.io's game jam section I saw that the Godot Wild Jam was starting in literally 15 minutes! The jam looked interesting and while I had used Godot a lot just to mess around and make small projects, I hadn't yet finished anything. So I waited for the jam to start and got to making!
